All roads lead to Weinheim. The central station has a direct connection to the ICE stations of Mannheim, Heidelberg and Frankfurt. You’ll arrive at the station from Mannheim and Heidelberg on the RNV metropolitan railway Line 5 and from the Odenwald Forest on various different bus routes. From here, you can walk to the city center in around 10 minutes or you can take one of the bus routes, which will bring you to the Dürreplatz or the Hermannshof. A dense bus route network connects you with the various districts, supplemented by call taxi routes during non-peak traffic times.
The Autobahns A 5 and A 659 cross just outside the city gates. Federal highway 38, coming from the Odenwald Forest and Mannheim runs along Weinheim‘s city limits, and federal highway 3 runs along the edge of the Odenwald Forest from north to south right through Weinheim.
