Town Gardens

The Town Gardens contain three memorials – the red sandstone cenotaph erected in 1999 for victims of violence, war and persecution, the Babo Memorial and the Krausé d´Avis Tomb. The Geissen fountain is also of historical interest.

Hagander Park

A wonderful avenue of ornamental cherry trees blossoms in the spring in the former private gardens. Two ginkgo trees, one male and one female, also grace the park, which lies to the north of the Bahnhof Strasse.

Old Cemetery

The 93 visible former graves, including four of Weinheim’s honorary citizens, distinguish this park. Take a stroll through the park to see its interesting collection of old plants and the animals that have settled there.

Rose Garden

Between May and November, more than 1000 roses of 40 types delight visitors to the rose garden, which is maintained by voluntary workers. The rose garden dates from 1950, when the Earl of Berckheim presented it to the citizens of Weinheim.
